Camp Kiwi is incredibly affordable, clean, quiet and peaceful place to stay while visiting Otorohanga. It's in a safe, secure area right next to the Otorohanga Kiwi House.

Campervan & tent sites:

We are very proud of our clean and hygienic facilities, which are serviced daily.

Please note:

  • Dogs are permitted at Camp Holiday Park at the discretion of the Camp Manager
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
  • Dogs are not permitted in the kitchen/dining area

Set your own pace and see New Zealand's birds and reptiles in a peaceful, native bush setting, just 5 minutes from Otorohanga's main street, shopping centre and Kiwiana displays.

Stroll through NZ's largest dome aviary, native forest paths and wetland areas. This is the best place to see a Kiwi with guaranteed all-day viewing.

We feed all our Kiwi birds, including "Atu" (New Zealand's most charismatic bird)
every day at 10.00am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Your entry price includes talks and feeding displays by Otorohanga Kiwi House staff throughout the day.
